Tom’s right on the money with the recommendation for a Subaru. My parents had a 2005 Forester and I had a 2009 WRX for a little while. Both were exceptional in the winter, even with all season tires. There’s few options out there that offer a better combination of pricing, safety, practicality, and reliability. The

The video shows that this stuff can be applied then painted.

It’s an older video and it’s been around on the internet for a while, but I think this might be what sioux was talking about:

I’ve been predominantly a PC gamer for the last ~15 years and I’ve had several consoles in that time too, but barely played the GameCube and Wii.

And Doug is doing an excellent job selling me on CarMax! I’d personally prefer to go CPO via a dealer, but if not that, you can bet you’d find me at a CarMax! Heck, I‘m starting to wonder if the CarMax route would be better than CPO.

I completely agree. Even my E90 335 has proven itself to be far more than enough for public roads.

If the tailgater was checking their phone, then they are doubly wrong in this situation!

I don’t disagree in principle, but in a case like this, if I had a car that close behind me, I wouldn’t tap my brakes until after I had moved over far enough to be completely out of their way. I wouldn’t claim ignorance on the fact that there’s a car behind me either because I think any reasonably-decent driver should

Upon watching the video again and reading more comments, it appears that not that much speed was lost (though it’s hard to say how much), so it didn’t appear to be a hard brake check. In that case, the tailgater must have overreacted to the sight of brake lights coming on for them to lose control like that.

The tailgater was obviously wrong to drive the way they were and could have been more patient considering the circumstances. HOWEVER, brake checking in an attempt to each someone a lesson is plain dangerous, especially on a highway. If I’m not mistaken, that can amount to assault with a vehicle in certain states.

A truck like the F150 or Chevy Silverado will easily get in to the upper $40k to mid $50k range. For example, a Silverado High Country goes for ~$54k w/4WD.

I had a PC with no dedicated GPU and a CPU with < 500 MHz and I think < 128 MB RAM the first time I played Sven Coop. I think it was made by Compaq. I ran HL1 in software mode and played on dial-up, haha. Counter-Strike was around Beta 6 or 6.5.

Used Tesla Model S.

I played recently when the patch came out last month and tweaked the AI rubberbanding, but I’ll have to check out this Legends update too.

Wow, what a buzzkill. I’ll give it the benefit of a doubt and wait to see more before I totally write it off, but I’m not nearly as excited now as I was before.

Occupants of this universe also still seem to be susceptible to knee injuries, as I found out when fighting some unscrupulous individuals:

I know this is a photo intended to make the interior look as nice as possible, but I really think this compares well against the German luxury brands.

This thing looks damn good. It would easily be a contender to replace my current car if I look to buy an SUV. Otherwise, my plan is to stick with a 4-door sedan. So let’s hope that Mazda puts that motor in the 6! It would be even more epic if they did so with AWD too!

Not an epic gameplay moment, but a funny nod to Skyrim via a raider’s mid-combat complaint (my own gameplay vid):
