Man I hope this isn’t the case, but you make a good point. I’m *really* hoping for a hot hatch Mazda 3 that competes with the likes of the VW GTI and Hyundai Veloster N in terms of performance, but then this is Mazda... they’ve disappointed us before.

The lease on my CX-9 ends in about a year. As long as this car is out by then, it’s a serious contender for me and I’d love to have a manual option!

This is exactly what I’d look to get too! I’m looking forward to seeing reviews for this car. I’ll be in the market next spring, so the timing will be pretty good.

Just a heads up to people who use screen protectors: Reviews of this dock at Best Buy’s website note that screen protectors, especially the thicker tempered glass ones, can make for a very tight fit in the dock. Some have reported scratches or smudges on their Switch and/or their screen protectors from using this dock

PLEASE let this come out in an AWD variant of the 6 before my lease is up in spring 2021!!

Had something similar happen to me earlier this year. A panel came off of something from a pickup truck and came flying right at my vehicle. Thankfully only cosmetic damage, but the entire headlight unit on the passenger side had to be replaced because it was scuffed up so badly, which turned out to be the most

Do you have any particular loyalty to or like Mazda in general?

Considering how well the 2.5T moves my 2018 CX-9 (aka the Big Blue Manatee), I think that it will be a very nice option for the CX-5.

So is this basically a remake/remaster of Pokemon Yellow then with some gameplay changes because of newer controls available (throwing Pokeball, for example)?

Agree with your points here. Reading through some replies in this thread, I don’t see many people talking about the down payments and credits required to get to some of those special monthly prices that are advertised by other luxury marques.

This is a fairly common occurrence here in the US too. Granted, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone come to a complete stop in the middle of the road (once on the shoulder though), but I’ve seen plenty of people cross multiple lanes or slow down significantly to make an exit with what appears to be very little regard for

Agreed. I had the same thought too, I actually kinda like it.

For what it’s worth, I have an off-white leather interior in my current car. It’s BMW’s “Oyster” leather interior. Despite wearing jeans or other dark-colored clothing and having a kid in the car a lot, the leather hasn’t been that difficult to maintain or keep clean (to be honest I’ve put very little effort in doing

I unfortunately don’t have any experience with BMW’s DCT transmissions, and I don’t mean to trash them either. Dual clutch transmissions really are incredible to drive.

Totally agree. Best automatic I’ve ever driven. My brother has an M235i with one and it helps make the car feel relentlessly fast.

I drove the Grand Touring model, but I did see a Signature in the showroom. The Signature’s interior is very nice and is even competitive with some of the luxury brands’ offerings for the most part, if you ask me!

That’s definitely an option worth considering too, but I’m hoping to stick to sedans if I can! Otherwise, I do really like the CX-9 too. I was impressed with it when I test drove one last year.

Make it with AWD with that nice 2.5T motor and the Mazda 6 would be my next car. I’ll actually be in the market for a new car later this year at the earliest, but more likely by spring/summer 2019.

I’m in a similar situation, except minivans are completely off the table. I’m primarily considering the Subaru Ascent or a Mazda CX-9 for my next vehicle though.

That’s good to know about Honda’s CVTs, especially since I like the Accord so much. My general, positive opinion of them was likely formed in large part due to the fact that my first car was a Honda Accord (though it was not a CVT).
