I do very well with an i7 920, 9 GB RAM, and a Radeon 7970.

Manual 228i w/Sport Package for me! :) Lower price, better gas mileage, and more sensible for the everyday driving I do. 0-60 in 5.4 seconds isn't exactly slow on public roads! I'll admittedly be missing out on that sweet I6 noise, but I doubt I'll miss out on much of the fun, if any!
Neutral: How Can Volkswagen Be A Hit In The US Again? Much as we love the idea of the GTD, there has to be more than that.
This is one of my favorite scenes of all time! Bullet Tooth Tony, hahah.
Hahaha, I can't take credit for "melty ass" though as I saw it in an article that was written previously and posted on Jalopnik.
Doesn't Benz's Bluetec diesels use urea to help with emissions controls?
Wouldn't want the car drinking its own piss, after all.
Ah, yeah. I think the fact that even BMW is going FWD though goes to show that the people who can afford these entry level luxury cars just don't care as much about the driving dynamics anymore and they seem to focus more on the brand. The demographics have changed!
Please also refrain from farting in the general direction of the fire.
I really like the sport version with the big emblem up front though I've never been a fan of hood ornaments. I didn't see any pics from the source link of the back of the car. I hope it doesn't have a melty ass. That's the worst part of the CLA's looks if you ask me.
Yeah, I never went to Waffle House that much when I was a student at IU, but the place did have some charm to it. As you said though, it's a good thing there's still Village Deli!
Waffle House is one of my guilty pleasures. But for the people of Bloomington, IN, it was so much more. It's not about cars, but this is a great read.
I'd have to agree with you in that I am actually more excited for the 228. My friends would think I'm crazy considering how car crazy I am, but even though it's slower, I somehow imagine it as being this lighter and more tossable car even though the weight difference can't be too terribly much between the M235 and the…
This article is an excellent piece of work. I really mean it! It's so true too. There are people on BMW forums who will point out what this article is saying and that's why some believe that the current F30 (which I don't particularly like as a sporty fun car, but would love as a comfortable daily driver) will…
Another benefit to this car coming out is that the used 1-series market might grow and the cost of those might come down. Maybe.
Did someone say: Big Bad Wolf?
The side profile actually reminds me a lot of the current E92, though this car's proportions do make it look shorter (I haven't compared exterior specs).
I do agree with you in that this will be the closest thing to a real BMW that you can get from them these days, but the lower models will be plenty fast too if you consider this car's size. Heck, even the new F30 3-series sedan with the 2.0L turbo (the 328, not the 320) will do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. So they…
What the hell just happened there? His body movements make it seem like he wasn't all there in the head for whatever reason, wheter it be medical or drug-related.
Last rumors I read are that 1-series is going FWD and so is the new X1 (though the X1 will still offer AWD).
