Looking at the Copart pics the Passenger seat look like it molded and dried if so that means the carpets got it to, combined with the hail damage - golf ball size dents- as well as loss of value for the lark down the dealer would have to take to move it after repairs then it is a easy TL. Since they are only pay cost…

When I lived in Texas, there seemed to be a yearly event for every dealer who were selling cars at huge hail discounts. Never saw any totaled that i can remember but if it destroys enough of the bodywork and glass, I can see it happening I suppose.

I wouldn’t think twice about it being sketchy when they say totalled due to hail. That’s very possible and common.
