I noticed the same thing with my peers while i was in college, and nobody was “upper middle class.” Their parents just saved enough money to help their kids out while mine didn’t manage their money well.

Um, I’d say you still have it pretty good. You don’t pay rent and don’t have insurance bills (health or car) and no car note.

I feel the same way about Van Jones! I liked them both in 2016 but in 2017 I saw them both being chummy with these fucking racist assclowns and I realized they fake outrage for a paycheck.
