When it involves real people viewers will likely think some of it might have happened, or a version of it, so when they completely make scenes up then it does add to the misconceptions about real events

Twitter really is a cancer on society and I hope Elon burns it to the ground. There’s many other things to dunk on Taylor for, but this is ridiculous. As a fat person I got what she was trying to convey easily.

28 years from the first scene with the great council. Roughly about 20 from the first Rhaenyra scenes

I think GOT’s first season was great for its time, but I’m glad that HOTD has improved upon that immensely. It helps to have the groundwork of the original show, but even the early GOT episodes had some cringe scenes in hindsight.

HEYOOOOOOOOOOO!

I think this show is just meant to be tragic, and nobody should be rooted for. Which is bleak as hell but canon dictates

It’s a matter of speed, they want to get there as quickly as possible and not wait for an army or even ravens to get there. Rhaenyra assumes that Storm’s End will go for her due to family ties and Borros’ father swearing loyalty. It’s part of her naivite that the law and her privilege will be on her side, when it

To some extent, yes. This country has goldfish brain

He never HAD to make Otto hand, especially knowing how self-serving he was. He also could’ve forced Helaena to marry Jace, and thrown Alicent in a dungeon if she continued to spread rumors. Or just had a long betrothal to Laena and wait to marry her.

Yeah, I agree that it might be part of it. The fandom is very lopsided for the Blacks because the show has skewed to them heavily, but they end up doing an atrocity or two as the war goes on. Hell, they already did by faking Laenor’s death among everything else that happens to the Velaryons.

It was clear that Viserys was losing it, but the one thing that does make me pause on this theory is that Viserys DID tell her of dreaming of having a son take the Iron Throne back in episode 3 or 4. So she knew he initially did want a son and figured he wouldn’t have one when he made Rhaenyra heir.

Yeah Aegon and Helaena at least were a few years old when Rhaenyra marries Laenor.

Yeah I think it would’ve been much better if Alicent initially truly wants peace and to let Rhaenyra rule, but her own kids have a will of their own now, egged on by her family.

I’m pretty sure they won’t be doing any more time skips as the rest of the storyline takes place over a couple of years

In the books it’s portrayed this way too, Aegon is a drunk and they describe his face as puffy, and Aemond becomes a warrior prodigy

She told him to listen to Bill because he’s famous. As practical as that is for a career standpoint, good for Seth for sticking up for himself.

With great lifting children power comes great responsibility to not do that. Most of the time.

As funny as it is to imagine Seth being dangled over a trash can, Bill clearly is the type that either doesn’t get or doesn’t care when being funny is crossing personal boundaries. Also Bill dropped him in, you never drop the kid in. Also Bill isn’t entitled to an entire sofa.

That too, how he failed to learn any Spanish in New Mexico is a testament to his boorish white copness.

I didn’t expect New Orleans to not have a problem
