I agree mostly, though she could’ve given back some of those stolen jewels. And not try to sweep Andrew under the rug.

I think it’s fine to question the system itself but it’s also not realistic to expect someone born in 1926 and expected at birth to be responsible for her entire family’s legacy to just throw it away, especially after her uncle nearly did. Or to make statements condemning British government policy when the biggest…
For me it comes off like people think she literally ruled Britain all this time, when the monarch has very little power and is more or less a tourism draw/ambassador for the country. She also was raised in this environment and was under tremendous pressure by her family and long-dead dad. She also CAN’T make any…
Kind of? The hair is still ridiculous and he has no eyebrows. His voice is also very close to Ramsay’s. But he’s got a good posterior
that meat’ll be tough
Her dying wish is for them to be drowned and buried with her
So....she’s single!
Also the new treks still have a few issues and stereotypes they fall for. I’m not seeing woke at all
I have a ton of nitpicks but none are on the casting. These people are playing pretend, and not a single adaptation truly nails what everyone looks like (Frodo is 50 in the books)
I appreciate some parts of it, like the actual hobbit and dwarf parts are charming. I hate when people call that boring.
I think they both hit the tones of their respective properties. ROP definitely has a much grander scope and budget, but the people of HOTD are more interesting because they’re allowed to be sleazy backstabbers. Depends on which fantasy you want. For me it depends on the day
Second episode of ROP picks up quite a bit, the first one was a bit boring and definitely a B B- for me.
In this crapsack world he was one of the better ones. Even Ned Stark was marrying off his 13 year old to Joffrey, and was only going to break that engagement when shit truly hit the fan.
People. People. Please. just because it’s a dramatic scene... doesn’t mean you can’t do a little comedy in the background. Throw a pie or two, for God’s sake.
Also they show why the dragons can’t just be used as a deus ex machina
I do like this show so far but it’s forever doomed by the timespan they cover (30 or so years) meaning we don’t get nearly the in depth look at events and characters as the original GOT, and the fact that we know it ends up with Bran as king.
Seriously, the show starts with Ned beheading a dude out of duty, a dude who turns out not to be a crazy deserter.
Viserys had just threatened to carve out her unborn child, so he 100 percent had to die. I guess her reaction was eerie but he had abused her all his life.
But then you realize you’re the general public and someone else thinks you’re a yahoo.
GOT had a huge crossover appeal, people of all ages and backgrounds got into it, and most just want to see the tits and dragons. Which this delivers. Plus a bonus of Matt Smith booty
