I can see him being slightly hard to work with.

Lonely Island! The Californians, and...uh...
The Loot Train Battle was fun, and you could actually see it. Other than that there’s the awful Wight Hunt and Tyrion/Varys seemingly throw the war in the Lannisters’ favor. Dany should’ve fed them to Drogon. Imagine how fast she would’ve taken Kings Landing before all the scorpions were made and with 3 dragons.…
Yeah, Dany did a ton of stuff that every king, especially Targaryens, but also Tyrion and the Starks did. (beheading insolent lords, burning to death a bunch of soldiers when they won’t bend the knee, etc.) and all through season 7 Tyrion and Varys are suddenly concerned. It’s like they all gaslit her into really…
I can’t say I agree with the technology argument, in its fantasy setting it’s kind of the point that society hasn’t advanced, it only does once magic and godly things are eliminated from the world.
I might have hated season 7 more than 8. By 8 I just wanted to see who lived and died.
It was there, but she mostly took it out on people in power, not the smallfolk. It would’ve made more sense if she decided to burn each Lord’s keep down and they decide to take her out, make the ending a bit more gray for the other characters.

I forgot Bill was a past character, it’s been...7 years now since I watched the first season? I should do a full rewatch now

I was happy this show didn’t go off the rails in the way Breaking Bad did for its finale. I did like their finale but it seemed slightly unrealistic
I think Covid messed up their schedules a bit so that might be why

Chuck had some valid reasons to “hold Jimmy back” from law at least, knowing of his past cons and the fact that his stealing exacerbated their dad’s death. But at least in that case Jimmy didn’t mean for that to happen, and Chuck didn’t have to bail Jimmy out in his youth too or depend on him for care when his mental…
