That would be a cool touch. I was hoping Rise of Skywalker would have more closure and show Rey with a bunch of new Jedi recruits on Tattooine like that. Desert just seems like a good location to do spiritual training

I like the idea of Grogu getting a Mithril shirt. So THAT’s how he survives Kylo Ren!
Isn’t this what we all are going through, we can’t move on from our past stuff because the future looks so bleak?
It would have to be someone with that voice, the weathered middle aged ex-mother in law (at least for me) type who should be unbearable, but always amuses you with completely bonkers stories that should be unbelievable, but coming from her you know they’re 100 percent true. She totally dated a Jawa, if not more than…
Mando season 1 was so good because it was largely its own thing. Season 2 started to slip because they needed to add cameos from all the other series and set up spinoffs. I’m worried this is going to be the approach for all of Boba Fett and any other future series, so we never get a nice self-contained plot.
I was pretty annoyed the ship was from Naboo. Oh and the R5 droid is THAT droid from Episode IV that intentionally blows his top so R2 can be purchased. The scene would be fine if the ship was from any other planet.
I was!
Boba needs to ride that Rancor already, he hasn’t done too many cool things and takes his helmet off too much. I know he’s not a true Mandalorian, but the mystery of Boba Fett and badass nature has been somewhat diminished as he holds board meetings and heals in a tank.
This episode was so good, I think because of how well we know Mando at this point. He’s also not tethered with a toddler. I really hope whatever they do with Grogu is just closure and not bringing him back into the plot.
I’m so mad that MIA has been....MIA since that moment. She is vastly underappreciated
Yeah, by anti-woke I mean mostly anti-rainbow capitalism and censorship, if that makes sense. He’d definitely be fine with representation and LGBT rights and would have a field day with how hung up conservatives get over bathrooms.
He 100 percent was pro-LGBT and against punching down, but I do think he’d be somewhat turned off by the calling out of comedians for decades-old material or removing episodes of tv shows post-George Floyd.
I really don’t think he would ever be on board with a billionaire crook, especially one he had decades of hearing about in NYC. Trump is by no means of the Christian Right, but he’s buddy buddy enough with them that it would turn Carlin off. Carlin also especially hated patriotism, so Trump literally hugging flags and…
People said that about the GOP too, and it didn’t happen. Dems keep losing because they play by rules the GOP ignore, and just keep taking shit from people who aren’t arguing in good faith.
That...might be kind of funny
She’d be a good one too

And the people are all phonies! No one reads. Everything has cilantro on it—
rods to the hogshead
He’d definitely be anti-woke, but would apply it to both sides especially the conservative book-banning going on right now. Nobody can really claim Carlin, he hated almost anyone in power.
