The problem also is there algo is crap. Get into crazy feedback loops where I will look at one thing and then everything will be about that subject until I like manually search for something else. Scrolling and looked at a someone building a table a second too long and all I see is carpentry and construction videos…

If they want to compete with TikTok, they should make an app, not try to turn Facebook and Instagram into a TokTok clone.

Half of my IG feed is “because you liked something this guy posted,” or “this may interest you.” When I click “don’t recommend posts from so-and-so” it makes no difference, they are right back in the feed. Makes this app a complete waste of time, I mean, even moreso.

Yeah not to mention the way they mix in videos and photos. I go into TikTok to watch videos, but Instagram mixing them makes it annoying because I have to constantly unmute/mute things. It’s feeling more and more like Facebook and I left that platform for a reason. 

This seems like an inane take. It’s probably less that “no one cares about” this movie and more that your social circle is woefully limited.
