If it’s that easy to manipulate the fragile and fickle whims of the stock market, it’s a wonder people don’t do it on TV shows more often. 

The fact that people are here telling you that you’re wrong is absurd to me.

I like how the AVClub can have articles on fairly niche musical artists and act as if everyone should be acutely aware of their entire deal, but an article about a guy who wrote and starred in a very popular, very long running sitcom that is consistently a streaming darling? Yeah sure who’s that.

I think the thing about dredging up all this material that might seem superfluous is that, despite being such a huge presence in the history of pop culture, they were only around for like...7, 8 years?

Why? That “I told you so” moment does nothing helpful. It’s just a bunch of people acting like they’re somehow better and more pure for not having liked something. Yeah, number one, I don’t know who’s making money off a gif in the first place. Number two, the footage would certainly be owned by CBS. I’m sure she signed away any rights to her likeness being used as it relates to footage filmed for the show.

That vital information isn’t even mentioned until the last sentence of the second paragraph. It’s just written in a way that feels like I’ve been dropped into the middle of something rather than starting at the beginning.

Right? That’s literally all I’m saying. 

Are you asking me if I expect an article to be informative? Yes, yes I do. I expect articles to inform me. That’s their purpose.

Look, that’s fine, I totally understand that people will be excited about things that don’t excite me.

The entire issue surrounding Big Mouth and other re-casting decisions around the same time seemed to be a way to distract attention from the very real protests against police violence and murder of PoCs going on across the country at the time.

It continues to be weird to me that all these Mitski articles assume I am intimately familiar with this person, like she’s a household name who of course everyone knows all about. 

That and “You guys ordered without me?” are delivered so fast and mumbly that I had to replay them several times to figure them out.

Missy Pyle is the best thing about the show, and maybe the only thing keeping me watching at this point. I’m getting sick of Hero being terrible, Yorick wandering off like a lost puppy and showing his face to everyone, Jennifer doing nothing. Everyone in this show is a drag.
