It doesn’t seem like any of the orcs shown are actually the one revealed to be the Weinstein orc. Does Elijah specify in the podcast? My money’s on this guy:

I think, as the article’s response from Grohl implies, he doesn’t care enough to even get involved. He pays lawyers to handle all that. If a lawyer comes to him and says “we may have to change any future pressings of this decades old record you did with your previous band” he probably just rubber stamps it and says

Personally I really didn’t like the 3rd season of DD, though I seem to be in the minority.

Spacetwinks actually shows up occasionally on my twitter feed getting retweeted for saying pretty on point stuff that isn’t related to furries.

I....kind of liked the first one?

They call that the “Tony Stewart” defense.

Absolutely the weakest excuse I can think of coming from this kid’s lawyer.

That is...OP’s point? Saying he “started in hardcore bands” could also be encompassing his time in the “edgier” Nirvana...it doesn’t change the fact that he’s made bland boring generic “rock” for the past 25 years, which is the bulk of his career.

Jane has a phone conversation with Dr. Selvig that we just hear the end of I believe, where she says “Thanks Dr. Selvig”. Either that or she’s just thanking him metaphorically, but she says his name.

Is it weird to me that it feels like this movie came out several years ago?

I also shouted “Jesus Christ” but it was absolutely hilarious, maybe the most spontaneously hilarious moment so far this season.

Oh absolutely, there are for sure shades of “I don’t like this outspokenly liberal figure, let’s go digging to see something I can be bad-faith offended by”.

I mean I don’t like her films that much either. I guess the hang up is you see her as being set up to be a great female comedy savior and I don’t really remember that being the case. Bridesmaids was her breakout role, but the kind of comedy she’s been doing has been fairly consistent in my opinion. Regardless of the

I mean, obviously your statement about women not being funny after repeatedly citing Bridesmaids, a female led comedy that was very funny and well-received, is its own can of worms;

His ex-fiance was named Evan Rachel Wood, not Rachel Wood.

Most of the whining I’ve seen about Jennings isn’t even about that one (admittedly bad) tweet, but is instead mostly from whiny MAGA people who don’t like that he’s overtly anti-trump.

Her box office numbers have been in steady decline because she’s doing less movies, not necessarily because the movies are making less money. She headlined 7 movies from 2013-2016, and then didn’t do any films in 2017, and then has headlined just 4 movies in 2018/2019. Then comes 2020 at which point “box office” stops

I think she’s having fun and making money, so why would she need a better agent? What would a better agent get her? More critical acclaim?

I don’t know what you’re expecting then. I dislike most of her movies personally, but they are popular and make money, so I don’t know what metric you’re using to say they’re “bombs” or “not hits”.

Have you LOOKED at the box office vs. budget of McCarthy’s filmography?
