You don't remember Adam West as Batman on TV?

True, unfortunately. But as long as we're going in the right direction, yeah?

How come? I haven't seen her on those other shows, but - IMO - she's been fine on Gotham.

That said, there are more of us enjoying the topic & laughing at the bigots, so at least things are improving on that front.

The fully fleshed out villains are what makes this show so great, so I'm very much okay with it too. :)

There's that, true. Although I guess they didn't really have a choice.

Yeah, I can totally see it going that way too. :/

Typical reply from a bigot with no logical basis for their bigotry.

LOL. You're an idiot. Also; you should probably skip Jessica Jones. ;)

Of course it was awkward - he just confessed to being in love with her.

Yep, that's my take on it too.

It'd be kind of clichéd after Mr Robot, but maybe.

We don't know that Cobblepot/Nygma is happening for sure, now that Isabella (Kringle clone + riddles) has entered the picture. I've got a feeling that that's going to turn into a giant subplot that could run for quite a while.

All of that is why Gotham is so fresh. The world really, really, doesn't need a 597th reboot of Batman.

Except that he doesn't love Vale, he's still in love with Lee. That's the subtext.

Close enough. ;)

I thought the first season was patchy, but still entertaining. The following seasons just keep on getting better.

Sucks to be you, bigot.

Totally worth it. It throws you for a loop at first because decades of Batman have conditioned us to seeing Gotham through his eyes, but this is the first work from the Batmanverse that portrays the villains as real characters, rather than cardboard cutouts. For me, it's the best "superhero" show on TV.
