I’ve eaten ChickfilA before, and I never understood why everyone said it’s delicious.  It’s a good sandwich, about as good as a Wendy’s chicken sandwich.  And the fries are awful.  And this is before I found out they were bigots.

I actually have a love hate relationship with Texas.  Some of the nicest people I know are from Texas and Texas has some great progressive cities.  But overall, yea it sucks.  But I hold out hope for them.

When I was young I helped my dad with his business in Vermont. I thought I was going to die. It was shocking how boring it was. I loved every minute growing up in NYC.  Today at 50 I’ve had more than enough, I’m ready for boring Vermont type living.  Like you said, NYC is not for everyone, far far from it.
