I'd actually like to see some Wiimote (pointer) + Gamepad (touchscreen) combinations. Sure, you'd have to sit the touchscreen on your lap, but it could have all your handy functions, menus, and inventory a touch away, while still letting you use the ultimate console equivalent of the mouse, the IR pointer.

And yet "Surface" is a classic case of Microsoft's failings.

This one is strangely alluring. But I'm not sure whether it's her cute face or the white Gamecube controllers swaying my opinion.

Pink things are perfectly awesome, but the whole "pink = breast cancer" thing is itself a cancer on our products. And yes, that was a somewhat heartless way to put it, but so be it.

How could they post so many shots of their elaborate photorealistic figurine and never once show the angle that was, quite frankly, the focal point of the outfit and character in all movie promotions? Isn't that kind of crucial to the accuracy?

I did notice it. I did.

Hit the list in search of Pynchon... didn't find any. That is an oversight.

Agreed on the Nabokov. His Pale Fire I'd perhaps recommend even more highly than Lolitia. It's truly a book you can reread for a lifetime and still be nowhere near exhausting all its contents, both profound and hilarious.

Just to respond to one of the points (cost) in an equally trollish (yet accurate) fashion:

Perhaps you didn't grow up watching the show. For those of us who did... this was the stuff of dreams.

Sadly you have only one option, according to Spector when asked about the possibility of a Wii U version:

    There's always local multiplayer.

    Fuckin' Sustinets

    > "until we can create something like the matrix..."

    Fucking Nihilists.

Ah, now I remember what I wanted to nominate.

That would be roughly 1000x better than the Core controller Nintendo showed, according to my scientific analysis.

There's some amazing thighs in that set.

I'd say yes (see my post above; it's my favorite of the genre). But if it's hard to get into the manga itself at first, you really ought to just start with the anime adaptation, which is perfect and 100% accurate to the manga. It covers roughly half the story, and if you're like me, when the final credits roll you'll
