    "...father-son violence..."

It's always been 6.2 inches, but the tablet itself is more like 10 inches across.

I would respond more intelligently but I'm distracted by the erotic undercurrent of your message.

I assume the parts and overall manufacturing are getting cheaper, mostly due to better deals with suppliers and control of the assembly chain, and partly due to the natural decline in the price of parts as tech advances.

I'm still reeling from the revelation in the Open Thread that Val Kilmer is now huge. Then you had to bring up Batman Forever again. Now I can't get Fat-Batman out of my head.

I just bought a Polaroid camera and some packs of its film, because I love the (productive!) limitations of some older technology. There's nothing like snapping a photo and giving the subject the physical result immediately, with no negative or digital trace left, and just the one fully analog and entirely unique

I've heard about that one and certainly need to pick it up next time the right friends are in town (unfortunately my local friends aren't into this sort of thing, so I have to wait for the bi-monthly-ish visit from some old buddies who are more attuned to board games).

Galaxy Trucker is one I'd highly recommend.

Yes, authenticity captures it well I think. The most authentic moments for me would not be those where the person sells their accomplishments or greatness, but those wherein they openly (and perhaps even comically, or wryly) acknowledge that they don't really know what the future holds or who they ultimately want to

"Fundamentally, men are attracted to the exact same thing in women as women are in men: Confidence. Self-assuredness. Agency. Knowing who you are. "

I'll go on record as not caring for this new 3DS menu system update. The new folders option is just ugly and looks like file-management, whereas I like my menu of scattered goodies as it is. I also preferred the old eShop layout.

You're right, I was waiting for a DS-Wii Four Swords for years and finally gave up. I just hope that it can work somehow on the Wii U, though just having one of the screen controllers might make it difficult for local play.

"There were a variety of ideas that didn't make it into the game. Using the lantern on a grassy area to cause an endlessly expanding fire, for example."

I'm sure he has alternate outfits, just like his dear ma-ma.

Ehrm, this is all I got.

"Grandma! I'm calling you on my Vita!"

Personally I find this parody's humor a bit on the nose.

Oh man, Star Trek: Borg. I loved that game. It was amazing at that time to have an entire, lengthy TNG-spinoff story told and filmed entirely from a first-person perspective, and I found that the puzzles and choices were actually very well integrated. I probably played it through a dozen times and had very different

The gameplay paragraph above has the most amusing version of grinding (and equipment management) I've heard. But somehow, I don't think I'd find it any less dull than killing the same creatures over and over then slapping different variants of armor and whatnot on my characters.

Congress should probably focus less on building its own library for old software and more on clarifying and fixing the relevant copyright laws.
