I almost forgot: the greatest passive Luigi triumph is at the end of this incredible Super Skills video from New Super Mario Bros Wii. (note the four-stage rocket launch and ending)

Fantastic.
You could probably do this with every Mario Party game. For this franchise, setting AI to "easy" really means "I'm so bad that I want you to stack the odds greatly in my favor." Typically there are incrementally unlockable higher difficulties like "very hard" and "brual." Those are where the action is.
Perhaps I'm revealing too much, but the Don / Megan scenes looked like the kinds of absurdly dramatic moments I've seen happen at some point in every relationship, both mine and others (...like one particularly loud, screaming couple we could always hear fighting through the wall).
Agreed; though I don't know all the specifics of the pricing, it would seem that Sony would be taking a huge loss if they reduced the price significantly, whereas I'm pretty sure I remember reading from Iwata that the 3DS would soon be back to per-unit profitability at $170, even though they had to take a significant…
Just remember those hidden memory card costs, which will bump you up a little bit higher.
(comment approved) Thanks for the info. It is indeed a very cute video.
It has invaded football as well, for some unfathomable reason.
I would say that I'm not going to judge, but yeah I'm too old for being polite all the time: this X-ray-violence obsession in recent games is incredibly stupid, and consider my opinion of your intelligence (and perhaps humanity) severely downgraded if you find this simulation to be a worthwhile use of technology or…
They could be very hard no doubt—like playing the original TMNT on NES when I was his age—but that's not all I'm talking about. I mean the ability to focus on something like those early games and play them at length without just giving up and moving on to the next amusement, since there is so much available now. When…
Psst... hey buddy: That Lara Croft wetsuit has other more advantageous angles of inspection.
Did this kid play through the classics himself, or watch his old man do so? Just curious if I'm wrong about kids-these-days not being capable of appreciating games like the early Mega Man franchise anymore (attention span, difficulty, etc).
I don't know much about the Chinese language, but at least in the case of something like German, the vocabulary used to describe elements of the web is all adopted English words: Itnernet, Webaddresse, Clicken, Domaenen, etc. So English words do tend to dominate everything about the web, including the programming…
Yes, yours was one of the best submitted, but Owen... only picks simple things, like bathroom humor. If only one of the better writers on this site were judging the entries, we might see some more interesting and esoteric entries come through. A man can dream.
Ha, yes indeed, Good catch.
Having watched a documentary on Pixar's offices and how they structure their work, the two companies now look even more alike based on this document. They both truly have a novel, laid-back approach to collaborating and working that is greatly refreshing.
(approved, good info there)
