I am a man and I had the same thought, but I didn’t want to directly say it, for fear of being accused of mansplaining. I see that term thrown about rather willy nilly. I also think that women should be more judicious when calling men “entitled.”

This article seems needlessly negative.

While I was convinced that Katie would pick Andrew in the end, my husband mansplained to me that Andrew got too real with Katie when he asked her about his career and if she would want him to give it up if they ended up together.

I think the author’s Osaka fandom is causing her to dramatically overestimate the potential impact of a brand-managing Netflix documentary to “alter the sports world altogether”, especially when it is not actually advocating for any changes within even her own sport.
