While I get the gist of your point, I will say that if you never have a conversation about it, how will people learn and get closer to you?  A conversation can be had, without judgement, if someone wants to learn more about you without risking their friendship.

10 years ago I was single and didn’t want kids...EVER.

funny, I don’t remember writing this comment detailing my exact feelings on the pitfalls of modern parenthood, probably another kinja error.

We hate it, you right.

What do Hispanics know? Wokescolds can NEVER be wrong!

I don’t know anyone who actually uses this term “irl.” I only ever see this term used in articles like these. FWIW, my Latina(o) friends absolutely detest this term.

The problem is that everyone seems in a panic to deny the lab theory because acknowledging it gives racists a talking point. I don’t think this is John Stewart’s angle. The issue isn’t Chinese—it’s scientific, regardless of how the virus started, and it’s political, because China does have a responsibility to the

The smug dismissiveness here is obnoxious. Again: you have no way of knowing what happened. As such, trying to definitively declare that it was not a lab leak, is every bit as dumb as definitively declaring that it was. If anything, it’s even dumber! I thought we didn’t know how Covid originated. There are still looking into, so it could be this and it could be something else.

Gorilla glass uses a chemical process to force atoms into the glass surface to induce compressive loads that prevent scratches from propagating into cracks, much like the glass tempering process does, but without the less controllable extreme temperature reduction and distortion-inducing tempering process.

I haven’t seen the episode in question, and don’t know the content of the jokes, and I’m not taking a position on whether it’s racist to make fun of white people on the basis of their race (it literally depends on whose definition of racism you’re using.) I haven’t stopped watching any comedians or shows because they

A slideshow-listicle seems inappropriate for a topic like this.
