NYCyclist does our cause a great disservice by being an asshole.

my personal experience with stoya was watching her tear down my wife for wanting to do a (non-porn) photo shoot with james. stoya was nasty, vindictive, and vicious, and lied copiously in her own blog post about the whole thing. it was some serious woman-on-woman bullshit.

It’s confirmation bias, really. People find out something bad about somebody, and convince themselves that they knew they were like that all along.

Lots of women have rape fantasies. Please remember that kink shaming is not okay, and neither acting in nor viewing videos simulating rape is an endorsement of actual rape.

he won’t, and now the kid looks like a money-grubbing asshat.

I am starting to feel this way, too. It’s looking more and more like a circus/money grab by his father.

I feel like this kid is Kony 2012ing us

i might be wrong

but i already learned my lesson and have an embarrasing tshirt that I’ll never wear in public so

I’m not convinced on that, for a few of reasons. The first is that college aged males aren’t referred to as men very often. It’s usually a colloquialism like dudes, and the female equivalents like chicks tend to come off sounding sexist. People like to use the most casual terms available.

What about the gender imbalance in primary education, child care, nursing, and social work? No articles on why we need to encourage more men into those fields? No articles on why the gender imbalance there is a problem? No one is taking issue with the gender imbalance in prisons, work-place mortality, or homelessness?

As someone who went through engineering school. I call bullshit.

Oh, come on, that’s not even close to what I was implying. You’re clearly literate; I trust that you have read many, many books by straight cis women and men. But don’t pretend like you’ve all read Stone Butch Blues when you clearly haven’t. And as much as I cringe at hearing cis gay men decry the inclusion of the T,

As a guy can I say this is nonsense. How about the emotional stain on men who aren’t allowed to show emotion because they have to be masculine and strong? I am not saying better or worse, but the issues of gender expectations go both ways.

Same thing happens at FedEx with the heat and testing people with packages. We always made fun of the people like you who couldn’t cut it. We had everyone from petite women to college kids who made it through summers and winters just fine. You’re just lazy, yo.

Exactly. It’s not even fucking Thanksgiving yet. Lay off the Christmas BS 3 months in advance and maybe people wouldn’t be burnt out on it by December 1st.

Like the entitled fat girl who thinks she deserves a wealthy, educated husband.

Gamergate had a bomb threat called in at an event of theirs a few weeks ago. They just moved the party outside.

I’m not sure if you understand how stealing works. Asking people to give you money in return for a very clearly defined product with an equally clearly defined limited life cycle is not, by any possible defitition of the word, stealing.

“THIS BAD BECAUSE UNNATURAL, ME NO LIKEY THINGS ME DON’T RECOGNIZE”

Hey, former Gap employee as well! I hated on-call shifts, but at least when I worked with the company you could just call a few hours ahead and they’d let you know whether or not you were needed. I cannot imagine constantly showing up and being sent home, gah.

The greatest day of my retail career was when Gap, Inc. stopped doing those bullshit oncall shifts. Either schedule me to work, and suck it up and pay me(there was always a denim wall to be resized at Old Navy, which can be quite meditative) or don’t schedule me at all. I really feel for current retail workers who put
