Does anyone else remember when James Gunn was fired from GOTG 3 within 48 hours after an online rightwing troll and literal rape apologist sicced a Twitter bot army on him over 10 year old jokes? If that’s the standard for Disney panic-firing someone from the MCU then we should be hearing about Wright (and Carano for

I honestly didn’t much care for her performance in Black Panther, which was a minor issue in an otherwise terrific movie, and I cringed a little bit at the thought that her character would be the center of things going forward. So I’m like, ehhh. Things worked out OK. She clearly should never have been on social media

I don’t think her last post even reaches the level of non-apology. It was a straight up justification, using the same terminology that anti-vaxxers always use when spreading this deadly bullshit.

Man, that is a stupid-ass joke. What does that even mean? My 8 year-old could come up with a better pun.

Miley’s new album is so good. I thought Ariana and Gaga’s new albums kind of sucked, so loving Miley’s, which is pretty much all good hits!

Well, shit.

In her likes, she’s also been regularly liking tweets from the author of “Gay Girl, Good God”, an evangelical who claims she was a lesbian but God made her straight.

Exactly. “Hey, I’m just asking questions” is how you respond when you’re a) deliberately saying something inflammatory and in bad faith and/or b) being called out for saying something shitty.

Just asking questions is a cowards answer spouted by conspiracy theorists and racists.  Actual questions aren't phrased like that.

Let me be blunt.  Anyone pedaling anti vaccine bullshit lately can get fucked.  This is the worst time in the past half century to be anti vaccine.

Eh, if you choose to spread dangerous misinformation about the deadly pandemic sweeping across the world and about vaccines in general, sorry, you deserve to be canceled. Like, I can’t think of a more justifiable reason for canceling somebody. Also, people need to fuck off with the “just asking questions” bullshit.

I REALLY enjoyed the entire new series. It was so much better than the original, and even somehow, original in it’s own right.

It’s worth watching. Trans and other minority representation along with meta-commentary about the surreality of the original series. It's smart and, despite criticisms from Selena Gomez fans, overall very decent.

This was a really fun movie, but what kicked it up a notch for me was that there were a couple major points where I was sure what story beats we were going to get, but things got subverted - for starters, I was sure Andy would die, setting up Nile to pick up where she left off in a sequel that wouldn’t have to budget

They haven’t started filming yet, so they have plenty of time to collaborate with Page.

First-ever acting Oscar nominee to come out as trans, which feels like a pretty big deal!

Well look at that! A surprise 2020 announcement that isn’t shitty!
