I’ll give it a shot. Gravity Falls was good - but not excellent - when it debuted, as well.

I assumed this would be a Disney-ish version of Younger and (the excellent) The Bold Type.

Can’t wait for Stumptown. Will eventually get to Modern Family and Party Of Five (depending on reviews for the latter).

Well, unlike the other posters here, I like Friends a lot. It’s not my favourite sitcom, but as described in the original post, it’s sweet, mindless fun.

I loved the season. It made me feel like I was in a library reading epic fantasies all day long. I’ve yet to read the books, but now that the season’s over, I’m about to dive in.

I enjoyed the season a whole lot. Ruth Wilson delivered one of the best performances I’ve seen in 2019.

It’s hard to tell because it’s rare to get a breakdown of the key 18-49 demo, but from what I saw over social media, Euphoria seemed to be a bigger hit with 20-somethings than with teens themselves. The live ratings weren’t great, but streaming numbers are what’s most important with shows like these. I gathered that

There was so much noise over TLJ that I actually forgive Disney, yes, Disney, for thinking people wanted more fanservice.

I’ve watched a few episodes and have given it up. It’s remarkably bland. Gamespot gave it a 4/10, which is a little harsh, but definitely more appropriate than other lenient reviews hoping that the show might become entertaining in the next season. Hype shouldn’t be clouding your judgements.

I haven’t read the books but I do feel the show’s made a good effort to establish the daemon-human connection. Or at least, I’ve made sense of it in that the daemon is the human’s “soul” as the show states, or their conscience/essence, and without it, they’re essentially puppets for someone else. I’m not sure if

Probably a good decision given audience fatigue with these bloated action properties.

Such a fun, silly show. She’s just as good as her older siblings on the show.

Will keep an eye on what she comes up with under Amazon.

Very Kill Bill. I’ll be watching.

Ah yes, the film that got me to stop checking online reviews. I remember it was getting trashed on all user review score sites, and I couldn’t understand why at the time. (Now we have a word for those guys).

I like that they’ve clearly set her up as a bi lead early on without it being some sort of shock revelation like How To Get Away With Murder did back in the day. I think the show is still finding its footing, so my guess is with this additional order or next season we’ll see a new female character, perhaps working

Very few websites are consistently reviewing shows anymore, tbh. There are a lot of blogs doing so, but none with quality. I think people are just too busy with social media like Instagram and Twitter. That is, when they’re taking a break from Netflix.

Didn’t Claire buy a magic shop for him last season? Or the season before? I can’t recall, but the lack of support isn’t usually harmful and always coincides with some supportive gesture from one of the family members.

The Joker is one of the most famous comic-book characters ever. The film was going to smash based on brand name alone.

Kim and Kanye’s brand is attention-seeking / ego-feeding, and their fans love it because they’re just like them (without the money).
