I’m guessing this is just like any food chain. Some are better than others in different areas. I’ve had great pizza from Pizza Hut in different states and try it here and the pizza is terrible.

I don’t go to chipotle for “authentic mexican food” (and that just doesn’t exist in NW Ohio). I go there for chipotle burritos.

I get exactly what you’re saying. Americans have been trained to feel embarrassed and less than for negotiating/bargaining prices but it’s no biggie in other places. It’s almost customary to some cultures.
