the reality is that truck sizes actually haven't changed dramatically over the years. The width is identical due to federal regulation on vehicles over 80 in. The hight is a little taller than the 70s but only slightly taller than the 50s (roofline shrunk between the 50s and 70s). The only dramatic change is in length

2nd. You probably should care about how much more expensive these cars are than their gas counterparts. Manufacturers will probably pass the added costs off onto consumers which probably means more expensive vehicles and slower adoptions of electric. For the record, I don’t particularly care since I’m more than happy

My dad had me take his apart and disable that lock for him. I don't think Ive ever know anybody to intentionally lock their tailgate. Hell don't even know if mine has a lock on it.

Ugly to you maybe but most people, myself included, don't find cuvs to be particularly ugly. I do despise the look of stationwagons though. So no. Your personal taste in asthetics aren't going to change a damn thing about what people buy.

All of which suck ass for most people compared to cuvs. Hell. I’m young and in relatively good shape but even I hate having to crawl up and down out of one of those things. It’s much easier to get in a cuv especially for old people. Plus there’s more cargo space, less road noise and they’re usually a little more

“And it would also end the terrible trend of everyone buying cookie cutter vehicles that are eye sores on the road.”

Once again, I have yet to notice a significant difference in interior quality. Hell if anything, my F150 uses significantly better plastics than the Mazda3 I had before it. Granted not exactly apples to apples but its the two interiors I’m most familiar with. A more direct comparison is the 2020 equinox to 2020 CRV

Having driving japanese and American and european vehicles, I can honestly say I don’t see that much of a difference in quality. Especially at the cheap end.

they don't.

I sure don’t miss these old bland mobiles. Not a single one of them stands out from the 90-2000s. Things can be overstyped now but at least they look interesting and distinctive.

Which is why I'm voting for Trump again.

Completely different scenario. The problem with towing in an ev isn't the motor but the batteries. Towing significantly reduces the range by more than it does in a traditional ice engined vehicle.

Bronco. No question about it.

i know everyone on here likes the biollinger but tbh, i dont see that one succeeding. Too niche of a market. I’m personally still not sold on the rivian. Looks ugly and it’s unibody but I will conceded they do seem to be the least amount of vaporware. The cyber truck is just ugly.

How many configs does the f150 have? Doesn’t matter if it sells and the Bronco will sell. As for the Mach e, if it launches on schedule, it will be one of the only real Tesla competitors compared to the half assed attempts from the Germans.

Shareholders will hop on board when the new Bronco starts printing money and the Mach e launches

I don’t see that Ford needs to turn anything around. Sure the explorer launch was bad but that will still absolutely end up being a profitable vehicle with that segment booming for a long time to come. Combine this with the new Bronco and Bronco sport and upcoming f150 redesign, and Fords looking pretty good to keep

The Ford family won't sell and as log as America still loves trucks, Ford will continue to be a viable business.

Ha. Yeah. Right.

I don't think the new Bronco needed a v8 but the v8 engine will be around for a long time to come.
