I was an Oilers fan. Then the GM came in and he wasn't very good. Yet, somehow that was worth a promotion! Then got a new GM from that and yet that he was a former coach that wasn't very good. Every year since the team was kicked out from the playoffs, we fans get told that we've got great talent and will prove to be

Go fuck yourself

In the first pic, are those two masculine women? At first I thought they were boys, but one appears to be holding a beer and they wouldn't serve beer to a boy, right?

I looked around a bit and couldn't find one. The #oilerssuck hashtag on Vine is pretty good though.

Now playing

I think this gif kind of mischaracterizes what happened. There's fighting in hockey, like it or don't, but there is. I'm going to take a wild flyer here and say the NHL has figured that no matter what people say here or elsewhere, their product sells better with fighting in it than without it so it exists.

It's opening week and in this thread we already have all the arguments for and against about fighting that happen every year . Same as I t ever was, was my point. Whatever.

At the speed of hockey, the line between clean and dirty is always going to be a hair. The players are nearly always in a better position to punish a bad hit than the refs or the league.

"There it is, Mikey, check it out, his head's bleeding... Check it out... His legs... Little Wayne's legs are shaking all over the place."

I support fighting in hockey but I really hate these punches to the back of a guy's head. It's incredibly dangerous and it would be an easy piece to legislate out of the game.

that happens in hockey. Your point?

Fuck you, man.

headline: LAWYER ACTUALLY DOING HIS JOB ON BEHALF OF CLIENT. i guess that's not as much of a clickbait headline, though. I'd love to see what suits gawker has defended itself against and how your lawyers portray themselves.

Why should you have to pay a premium to watch out-of-market NHL games when, according to Greg Howard, they don't get blacked out?

I admit after years of using PS3 and PS4 to stream NHL Game Center, MLB.tv, and NBA whatever-the-hell-it's-called, I had to clue what the fuck Roku was until I just Googled it.

"Both of the attackers, who are brothers".

The Kings are waiting for the Sharks to win two more games before the Kings start playing.

They don't look it on the ice because it's not spring yet.

This is an entirely different discussion. But I agree!

I know humor is valued and appreciated here, but stories where autistic children are terrorized make me insanely angry. I try not to wish harm upon others, but I hope those two cruel teens get what's coming to them.
