That’s just the tagline lmao

You’re referring to the “Half the season you deserve, all the season we could handle” promotion made after the interview with Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland in which they confirmed that season 4 will be a ten-episode season.

No, they didn’t.

Sadly, one word: tax write-off.

The fact that we live in a world where rich people donate large sums of money occasionally in order to be seen as philanthropic rather than paying less money on a regular basis to uplift our society as a whole is enough to make you want to burn it all.

So I just went and rewatched that scene, and this is what they say:

Yes! It’s easy to imagine the Mesa Verde commercial and copyright spin to have been put on a montage in any other episode, but the way it was framed and edited here (as distinctly not funny) made it feel really bad.

What if the season was completed before he died?

He only died on January 2. Season 10 was wrapped by then and ready to go. I suspect he was probably sick while they were filming, which is why he was off “traveling” or whatever all season. But they didn’t know at the time if he would pull through.

Now playing

He’s had that . . . style, for a while now. Saw him on Lights Out a few months ago, and it was even more disheveled.

I just can’t take the kids in Jurassic. Terribly written and acted.

Was I the only one expecting Joey Funkhouser’s new, giant penis to get caught in the lid-slamming urinal? I kept waiting for the payoff for the weird urinal design but it never came.

The dye job to the front of his hair, like that of a rooster’s ass and tail feathers, well bravo to hair and makeup because that was hilarious.

With how thin skinned he is, I'm shocked he was able to laugh at his famous asshole personality.

“tooblaaaaaaaine

I think you meant to say, “to blathe.” Which, as we all know, means to bluff.

I also did not like Jurassic Park. No idea why, it just didn’t interest me at all. He’s a great entertaining director but I find I like his output like “Duel” and “Jaws” more for some reason. “Catch Me If You Can” is pretty great though now that I think about it.

It’s a great example of how to make a good sci fi movie with a budget of about $3200.

The subway scene with the kid and the cards is an absolute gem.

I know of Brother from Another Planet but I’ve never seen it, one to try and track down now I’ll be spending the next few weeks mostly indoors.

Lone Star, Matewan, Eight Mean Out, and Brother From Another Planet duke it out for my favorite Sayles film. I’m hoping with Matewan finally coming to Criterion last year, that we see some more of his titles from him soon.
