I think that understanding satire is a lost art. It makes truly successful satire hard to pull off.

I had horrible cramps after giving birth the second time. I had terrible heartburn in the last trimester of both pregnancies, and I gave birth to two beautiful babies who grew up to be wonderful adults. In the end, it was all worth it but I wouldn't do it again.

I don't think that mean girls grow up. Hell no, they do not. While grown women are less likely to bully each other, I know some really, really mean old ladies.

This is awful and scary. I have a daughter who, if she didn't have myself and her grandmother to bounce things off of could easily end up in a situation like this.

@newyorkmuse: I don't think that anyones opinion was invalid. Your opinion is either projection or based on personal experience but I never used the word invalid. Personally, I've never met an "other woman" who felt like she had won anything

I suspect that this woman is an exception to the rule that every single person in this kind of situation is truly unhappy...unless one or more is a narcissist who is only interested in money or eye candy.
