BT;DT, except I had NO wipers... Managed to pull into a gas station and get some Rain-X on it and just drove 50+ all the way home. It worked.

Had a similiar experience when driving my first hand-me-down vehicle for the first 2 years of my motoring career... I wasn’t smart enough to even get a bottle of Windex though. I had to pull over and throw snow at the windshield.

Ditto

In a world of Trail Blazer SS T-56 swaps, that seems silly.

If we’re talking about an actual beater truck here then the depreciation is going to be like $150 a year. Also, as an LLC you’re probably going to have to be in a business of “some” kind. Not positive on that. As a trust you’re welcome to do pretty much whatever you want.

Which is already plenty enough theft from the populous as far as I’m concerned.

I think I’m the only person in the world (or maybe not, based on overall sales) that wants Hyundai to get back to their “roots” and make basic and affordable cars, but keep the overall quality improvements they’ve made over the years.

I’m talking about original cars. God only knows how many clones are out there of any car. We also have no way of knowing how many original cars survived even if we had exact production numbers. I’m just playing the odds based on the numbers.

Just call AMG and tell them to hook you up correctly. Drop the S and just get a UV. I’m sure you can still spend millions on it.

Ehh... It’s a pain in the ass and legally enforcing it later, if there was some falling out, is a pain in the ass too. Again, just buy a truck outright.

That is a good point... No one said the stolen car was all original. I do still wonder how many are out there.

Thanks for verifying.

I’m not all that convinced it’s overloaded or horribly off balance. God only knows what the kitchen “thiny” weighs (could be plenty if it has water in it) and it’s hanging off of there a good few feet. Plus the hatch is up, and as you mentioned the bikes are weight and lever arms too (which is compounded by being both

Another good point... I hadn’t actually considered that they got someone to become a notary for nefarious purposes. I don’t think the process here is much more difficult, but I know you can go to jail for screwing around with your “authority”.

All 400 cars have hood scoops, though they were not all functional. So, that is a visual indicator close enough to get you in the ball park if everything else seems right.

The way it looks I’m not so sure the bikes don’t pivot up and down with the hatch. It looks like there is “something” bolted to the hatch that might be helping to hold them? Anyhow, the guys I talk to with bike racks have told me they don’t even notice they are there (the cross section is pretty narrow and they don’t

No. As the lugs move they shed debris into the voids between the lugs and fling the stuff off. Slicks don’t have that option.

Trailers around here all have VINs.. If it doesn’t (home built) the state will assign it one that you are required to stamp into the frame. Might just be a difference in how things operate from state-to-state.
