Anyone supporting the ethnic cleansing is a psychopath and a fascist. Full stop.

Insane tax policies and government subsidizing of the oil industry has lead us to these truck absurdities.

The bed to cab ratio on these trucks is getting a little insane. You might as well just buy an SUV and rent a uhaul trailer for the 1 time a year most of these guys will need to haul something. So dumb!

Next up will be the option of a fully-enclosed bed, aka a “trunk” and the sedan/limousine will have come full circle.

He’s really going to be mad when he gets deported and has to live out his days in Winnipeg.

I’m surprised they didn’t have a Kia EV6 or Hyundai Ioniq 5/6. Those are the non-Tesla EVs I see a lot of. I’ve seen maybe one Rivian in the wild, and the only people I’ve heard of buying an Ocean are YouTubers making videos about how terrible it is.

MAGA Dipshits now beefing with their anti-woke Lord Elon will never not be funny to me. Keep buying those moron mobiles, and we’ll keep laughing at the schadenfreude.

So many of them are just so inefficient.

Every time I see some new EV with 400+ hp, which is going to be replacing someone’s Civic, I have the same thought. Tons of buyers suddenly handling something so powerful with no experience.

In what universe would you jam the brake and accelerator and not expect 1000HP to overwhelm the brakes? Ever done a burnout? 99.999999% chance this is user error.

Exactly. Just what the world needs is moms with 3 car seats in cars with 1100 horsepower or the elderly that confuse the accelerator with the brake pedal. Speed was not an issue with most cars for the past 10 years or so. EV’s should be more focused on getting the most range from each kilowatt. So many of them are

“We have reviewed logs and due to the terrain, the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed...”

yep

Hmmm

“HAL! Speed up we’re still on the interstate not the service road.”

I’m not necessarily opposed to this, but I can definitely see potential issues. As an example, my GPS will occasionally think I’m on a service drive next a highway. If I’m going 75 and the GPS suddenly thinks I’m on a road w/a 40mph limit what is the car going to do?

Maybe if people who endorse the idea that the free market can fix any economic issue *eyeroll* also endorsed greatly expanded taxation on the wealthy, we’d be able to better support public programs like public schools and these places might have the spare cash to be able to raise wages

These are public schools

It’s really interesting to see what the ripple effects of the pandemic have been on certain things, particularly bad jobs.

People aren’t coming back to the bad jobs. It’s not going to happen. If the people working these jobs didn’t die from COVID, they certainly managed to restructure their lives in ways that have

So the free market and capitalism mean nothing anymore.
