I hope Germany and the EU exiles the people responsible for that interior. It (and the fact that mk8s are nearly impossible to find in Jersey) was a dealbreaker for me.

Germany fucked up big by ending nuclear energy, France is still king when it comes to clean energy on the continent and nuclear is why. Germany is falling behind.

Its a CUV but it has less space than its other compact counterparts and still suffers from worse fuel economy.

The ford fusion got no major updates since its release in 2012. The focus and fiesta were both plagued by an awful DCT that ford didn’t fix for their 2016/2017 refreshes. By that point, both cars were each thoroughly outclassed by like 3-5 other cars in every single way. All the sedans suffered from how bad sync was.

they don’t now because they’re getting convinced by all the suv’s that are being bought and advertised to them. And people buy cars for all sorts of reasons. If you live in a small city or town, its very likely that the only affordable cars on dealership lots in your area are CUV’s.

Now playing

Crucify me but I despise the sound of the GT-R. The v6 Chewbacca warble is super loud, and any tune or aftermarket exhaust only amplifies it.

Sounds like very heavy kernels popping

Maybe that wording is off putting but the treatment of women in the workplace in Japan is a major issue that has only recently attracted any sort of attention from the public.

I hate this because dodge could have done something like this with the dart and other FCA compacts just in the last decade. They make a performance compact NOW and its in the shape of a bulbous CUV. At least the Kona and GLA are relatively low in height and look as much, this doesn’t. Its complete nonsense. I also

He actually did alot of things right. He did (at least most of the time) lay off the throttle around other cars or before blindspots. Afroduck’s run had WAY more traffic, so he swerved through it way more often.

As reckless as this is, its silly to compare it to someone who was reportedly drunk, plow, at similar speeds, through a red light in a busy intersection. At least this guy STOPPED at the red lights, and slowed down if things got tricky.

i-80 is WAY more scenic.

Ok, let me revise. There are NO EV sedans and hatchbacks left on the market below $50k except the bolt and leaf, both of which can’t fast charge, and the polestar 2 FWD, which is nice but has the performance of a Jetta.

This bothers me too. Alot of companies already have the cars we want in other markets (and or close to what we want). They just insist on not bringing those care here. The Opel corsa e (E208 Peugeot) is a perfect car for alot of people for example. The development for those cars has been done and the results are great

Its all such bullshit. A car company will barely touch a sedan for years on end while Honda releases one, even two new generations of theirs, and then that company decides its not worth it. Its laziness turning into inaction, and its a self fulfilling prophecy. Like, should the public suddenly decide to buy the NINE

911 GTS: Approx $140k

I think its been well established that it was a stupid judgment on behalf of those companies. Their sedans were outdated and were getting clobbered by Japanese (read: better American) and Korean competition. Sedans sell enough for at least one more ground up EV-sedan in the market, given that there is LITERALLY ONLY ON

On a side note, its insane to me that all of these manufacturers are busting their ass, building all of these brand new EV SUV’s left and right, but not a single one has released a hatchback or sedan to compete with a model 3 or something. How long are we supposed to fuckin wait?

ok that’s cringe. I’d add that if I were an EU country and this happened, I’d eliminate speed limits on any road far from a city or intersection.

So I remembered correctly, this is a highway in the Netherlands built on a dike. Is that not a no-speed limit sign?
