The last three are a step below the GTI interms of straight line performance, especially a GTI with a run of the mill tune. The Veloster Turbo N is under-quipped and too cramped. The Elantra N would be better.

Half of those cas don’t come with a stick., CTR’s are incredibly hard to come by, that, the Golf R, the S3 and any AMG are really expensive. When it comes to the ~$30k segment, our choices are narrow AF.

I still think this is bullshit. Mazda still does alot of things that you would think they would abandon when moving upmarket, such as selling the toy-like mx-5 (yes very mature very upmarket), offering manuals, and offering their most important car with a wimpy engine. Mazda has to offer a better engine on the Mazda 3

Alot of what made the last speed 3 sell poorly, such as torque steer and an overall lack of refinement, which Mazda has fixed. A 2.5 turbo mazda 3 would be totally comparable to the GTI, possibly even better.

Being a cop while black. Jesus fuck.

Wait, why was he ‘detained’?

Honda E type R PLEASE

Its a hard sell. I drive almost annually from NJ to D.C. (180 miles). 200 miles would be enough. Also mini missed a great opportunity to make their first RWD car. I’m sure it would’ve still been unfeasible but one can dream

I love that Germany is preparing to fight SUV’s but doing it based of fuel consumption feels repetitive; If they burn more fuel, don’t the users already pay for it, and with it the corresponding gas tax? I feel that additional registration fees and taxes not tied to fuel consumption are more effective, since alot of

If the base CT-4 comes with a manual and an LSD with that low 30k price, it could be a real treat for enthusiasts. The G70 is a disappointment. Its slow and a bit more expensive than I hoped. Combined with its bad fuel economy, it would require me to dish out an extra 13 grand over a GTI or GLI (I did the math, this

I always believed that the model 3‘s minimalist interior was for cost cutting, since it is so batshit insane. Now instead of making tyhe model 3 a more normal car, they’re doing the opposite? If anyone wants a Tesla, go find a used model S.

I aspire to be as brave as this man, apart from the not washing hands part, like why??

So basically, a Civic Type r

The stinger is also heavy and massive. It can’t keep up with a GTI or a 1 series.

that made me want to die

This is not a bargain car, its not even that great of a car. Its as quick to 60 as an Odyssey, its $41k and has terrible gas mileage. We would all love a rwd manual car but alot of can’t afford 40 grand and $2000/year for gas, all for having RWD. I could get a quicker and more spacious, funner car out of the much

All of those are valid ‘excuses’. Its slower than a Honda Pilot, it is heavy, it gets 22 mpg combined, it is 10k more expensive than even the stinger, all of those things fucking matter.

We would all love a rwd manual car but alot of can’t afford 40 grand and $2000/year for gas, all for having RWD. These things aren’t excuses. It is genuinely stupid for me to buy this car. I could get a quicker and more

First off you ignore that I mentioned the $3k price difference. Secondly, I said I liked the GTI better and have one myself, but told you to stop being misleading by conflating this car with the Si and ignoring the price difference. Thirdly, you’re assuming that I don’t know anything about the GTI because I... pointed

Getting rid of physical HVAC and Headlight (WHY?) controls are idiotic. Not only because a touchscreen is harder to use for simple functions, but because there is no point. In the past two years not a single person has given me a reason why digital touchscreen controls are any better than physical controls. It idiotic
