Its unbelievable how these insanely simple safety features can save lives and prevent a person and car from getting mutilated. Its the same with rear crash guards. Having a rear crash guard with slightly wider and spaced out braces made the difference between life and death in crash tests.

The new civics and accord are really good, still nimble, very responsive and very stiff without ruining ride quality. The new civic is a huge step up from the last one.

I haven’t been in a single car where more than one button didn’t work. And the on or two buttons that didn’t work, still did work but the mechanisms they controlled were broken.

I can concede with you on the gauges but not on conventional controls. Screens are also a hell of alot more expensive. Plus, what configuration would I or anyone want for climate controls or headlights?

Well, its a bit pricey in terms cost, maintenance and fuel, and reliability is always a bit dodgy. I as a mk6 owner had my sister get a civic hatch over the golf for those very reasons and it handles as well as my gti save for the low grip tires.
