I used to have a DVR. It had 100gb. A few episodes of HD shows later and it was full. They expect this to be used for huge games and HD shows/movies? Please. It'll be full in a month or two tops for many people.

Because it is, for many. Just because you have obscenely good luck doesn't mean others do. I have had this game since Saturday but never gotten past the Start button. I haven't even been able to make a character.
