It’s not a good piece of hardware because it is already outdated. Not only is the 300$ price point absurd, but most people want to make use of the pro controller. That effectively makes the price point almost 400$. You justifying their lack of apps and other things is why they keep doing this crap to begin with.…

Because it is an alternative. The only time “regular” hand washing is required is if your hands are physically dirty from grime, mud etc. If all you are trying to cleanse is microbes, sanitizer does the job just as well.
