Ah yes Sam, I'm an MRA shitlord who refused to see it because of the "stupid principle" of "It didn't look funny enough to me to spend $10 to see."

But how much of it was because of ignorant Montana residents, or more likely that Montana's a blood red state that would go for him regardless of what happened?

"Jacobs’ new pair hopefully won’t be smashed by another politician, but who knows how many other Republicans will suddenly decide that assaulting a reporter is a good way to boost their poll numbers."

"None of the collective’s previous albums have aged particularly well, but they always sound great in their moment: an effervescent, loosely cohesive mixtape of state-of-the-art production, goofball sci-fi, and enormous pop hooks."

When did I say it was "the ultimate way"? What would be your way of tackling this topic if you're apparently enough of an authority to say I'm "pretty bad at satire"?

As a counterpoint, I could say that his video is a dark, cynical bit of comedy/commentary on the website Fiverr that shows how far people will go and lose their principles in exchange for easy money. People (And apparently you) took the video at face value.

Similar category of deliberately offensive, boundary-pushing humor, but not a word from the site about him.

I dunno, Bill Burr had a bit recently talking about how many people Hitler killed versus Stalin, and I don't see the site conflating him with Trump. To quote Philip DeFranco:

Can't stand Felix, but I get the feeling the site takes the approach of "Everyone/Everything that doesn't conform to our standards is wrong and is like Trump" when it comes to events like this.

"…one more opportunity for people to get up in arms about Dunham being a woman who dares to say things that make people uncomfortable (like that whole “abortion cred” statement or using the word “penis” on the Today show) and write characters you’re not supposed to like. "

"These aren’t old guys pining for 2009 because that’s when they were riding high on a wave of critical and commercial success. That couldn’t possibly be what informed their desire to drum up some controversy."

But here, it sounds like they're making assumptions just because they don't like the two stars attached.

Oh really? This is from their article about the HIMYM creators' new show:

Such as Sam Barsanti, apparently.

"Either way, it seems like it’s going to position police brutality as a good thing (or at least a necessary evil),"

Easier said than done when it seems that virtually every article here has a political slant to it.

With AdBlock, nothing I click on really counts towards the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, I get that much. I'm not a kid, you condescending prick, but the "he's a reality show host" thing is a really flimsy excuse to change from an Entertainment-focused website to a political website.

Okay, am I reading The A.V. Club or The Huffington Post? What does this have to do with pop culture?
