Good Guy Games is Lawrence all day long for sure. But I will say that woman was pushing hard. If she couldn’t smell what Lawrence was stepping in given his reaction to bible study, etc. then that’s kind of on her a bit too.

For one thing, he’s not her uncle. If this was a passing conversation of ‘Drake gave me advice about boys that one time’ but instead it’s ‘We’re friends and we text and he gives me relationship advice.’ then I’m going to say...eww. Not on her end because she’s a baby but Drake is a 31 year old man. “Friends” with a 14…
Hmm...not Lawrence. Derrick, yes. Not Chad (he really thinks he does though lol). The nerdy guy with glasses Molly worked with who was interested in her (the name escapes). Nathan. Molly’s new Asian dude.
She does. She badly needs to get out of her rigid rules for how to strategize at work, who she sees herself ending up with, controlling every situation...it’s her Achilles heel, this rigidity. That adorable Asian who’s already seen her at her silly, drugged up worst could be just the thing.
Dro has enough BDE to make up for the teeth. Also, when he pointed at the portraits of a Tiffany and said, “What the fuck is that?” I laughed so hard I had to pause the show to compose myself. That won me over. (He’s still terrible pseudo-boyfriend material and I’m glad he’s dumped by Molly)
Yep. Dro was getting pushy and possessive and disrespectful, wanting what he wanted and disregarding Molly’s wishes in the process. When he didn’t get the full girlfriend treatment from her he bounced and is now pouting and punishing her. Whether he has a happy or unhappy marriage, or any marriage at all, is beside…
I never fully got the issue people (both on the show and irl) with Issa and Daniel trying to have a relationship. After this episode, I fully get the issue. Daniel is a narcissist. His music is so special it can’t be tinkered with by a professional who knows how to sell the artist on a beat. That constructive…
“Radio Shack isn’t even a store anymore” did me in.
I love the scenes with Molly and Issa together. Their sisterly chemistry is amazing and hilarious to watch. Molly on her own, at work, with love interests...meh. Take or leave.
Except that Issa is attracted to him and interested in woeing him back as well. So it’s not like some rando walked up and was beatboxing on her neck. It was showing an intimate moment between the two of them in a loud, crowded club.
It’s the same dynamic Issa had with Lawrence. If her man is down on his luck, feeling vulnerable and lacking confidence, then she’s needed by him and that feels good. And then she doesn’t have to face her own crap because she’s so busy propping him up. Just like with Lawrence it’s not going to play out as an equal,…
I think Issa didn’t say anything to Daniel because A) he was feeling so shaky about his own career and she didn’t want him to feel worse about her potential success and B) if she takes that steady job she may be up out of that apartment sooner than later and she clearly doesn’t want to do that.
I was a surrogate. You’re not handing over “your baby”. Your handing the baby you’ve had an extended babysitting relationship with over to their weeping, thrilled, beside themselves parents. It’s a beautiful moment and Baby is in no way traumatized (no more than any other baby going from warm cozy womb to comparably…
This is the first time I’ve ever heard Milo speak. So be a provocative twink is his shtick?
Before he became press secretary I had heard exactly one interview with Sean Spicer. As the interview went on he became increasingly shrill, whiny, using disjointed and emotionally charged language (such as “frustrating”, “demoralizing”, etc)
His wife, Demelza, is a gorgeous ginger and she really is a great character. But the most you ever see is her back because, PBS.
Poldark is soapy PBS drama with gorgeous scenery and a plucky heroine. Also, Aiden Turner is quite literally the most gorgeous man on the planet currently. It’s worth a look see.
“The rest of the country has been using the South as a useful distraction from much broader racism. Sadly white liberals have been a huge part of it.”
True story: I knew more out and proud racist fucks during the 20+ years I lived in Chicagoland than I’ve known in the 20+ I’ve lived in the Deep South. This story surprises me not at all.
I could’ve sworn this show’s series finale was last season. No? Well, I really don’t think I can watch any more of this bullshit because the window closed for me. Peace out, Lena.
