No! You don’t understand! When a Hillary supporter at a Hillary gathering makes a possible racist comment, it is HUGELY IMPORTANT NEWS that means she is definitely a massive racist who hates minorities.

Jezebel has been super disappointing recently. They also didn’t make a peep when Clinton was criticized for being too ambitious. A lot of great discussions about what it means to be a woman in politics (or life) are going to waste.
I posted the same over on Gawker and whooo-eee. The sexism is rampant all over.
Its symptomatic of all these little slips i keep seeing from the Sanders campaign. Like, I want to think Sanders is better than all of this, but then these little things keep happening which adds up. Same in Clinton’s campaign re: race.
This isn’t nothing and it’s frustrating to have such a dismissive response about it from a blog that’s ostensibly feminist.
I love how in Grease you can see Olivia Newton-John’s fillings when she sings.
Real teeth are some of the most underrated things in Hollywood. I love watching a movie from pre-1995ish, and realizing that actors used to be able to lead a movie with a wonky, off-white smile.

One of these days, some person will say some insensitive shit about race, and won’t include the hypothetical green and/or purple people in their sorry-not-sorry, or just not-sorry in this case, response and I’ll think to myself, “Progress!”
Could be worse than Shreveport! I had to live in Lake Charles for a year. Commuted back every damn weekend.
They’re discussing state contractors, which includes health care and social service agencies who receive state funds to provide services. From Nola.com:
This is what progressive leadership looks like south of the Mason-Dixon line.
He’s a southern Democrat (still way better than any Republican) and he’s dealing with a Republican legislature that would have probably overridden a veto and passed a far worse bill otherwise.
Quite the reverse actually.
Everybody realizes how bad this law would have been if Bobby Jindal’s evangelical theocracy was still in charge of the State, right? It would have been Mississippi, part II.
keep in mind, many republicans want to abolish state welfare programs and replace them entirely with private religious charities.
Literally the only good thing about Cruz’s candidacy has been this guy.
Thing about that is that aliens, at least, are real.
Are we gonna make contact with aliens or find someone that likes Ted Cruz first?
