The rightwing gun toting folks live in north Louisiana, and are all Cowboys fans. #themoreyouknow

New Orleans resident. I’m beyond proud of them. We were reading the statements and went fuck yes, finally. It made me remember why I can’t ever break up with my team. The comments have been brutal on local news sites, but I couldn’t be happier.

For as long as she’s been a voter, she’s been a Democrat. “Lifelong” is acceptable as a descriptor. She couldn’t do very much before then.

Except as a 20+ year politician with a comfortable six figure income, he’s part of the Establishment as well.

I want a biopic starring Parker Posey.

Technical point: She’s not quite a lifelong member, but she’s been a Democrat for ~50 years, so she’s obviously more loyal to and invested in the party.

Are... are you saying Bernie Sanders The Infallible is an actual politician who changed his ideals when it best benefited him?

Agreed. I feel like the Bernie supporters I am friends with spend a lot of time posting anti-Hillary stuff, and skimp on sharing stuff that talks up Sanders and his policies. It’s counterproductive.

There is also the fact that when questioned about his plans for change he doesn’t really seem to have any, he is an NRA shill, blamed his wife (and we know that man has a tax accountant) for not showing his Taxes because it ruined his “common man” bullcrap, and his interaction with women mirrors many of his followers

I really, REALLY don’t understand the misogynistic shit that I’m seeing from Bernie supporters. I voted for Bernie in my state because his policies are most in line with mine, but you bet your ass I’d vote for Hillary if she wins the primaries.

pssst: that’s how I meant the word “bro”.

Right? Good on Bernie for calling out the Establishment (tm), but it’s not a shock, nor is it unfair that the Establishment is going to pick the Establishment candidate.

Is that cake Paleo? I can’t have any unless it is.

This is the Bernie Bro phenomenon in a nutshell: a good-enough idea (pointing out the superdelegate system is fundamentally undemocratic) runs into an obnoxious social media tactic, helmed by someone who seems like a bit of a dick.

I think it’s fair to note that Sanders didn’t join the Democratic Party until 2015, prior to that he served as a longtime independent.

They don’t promise not to make a difference. They promise to act as an emergency brake in the event Democrats elect a lunatic or something crazy happens on the eve of the convention.

Can we get a caucus hitlist? Because caucuses are insanely un-democratic.

I’ll never cease to be amazed by how quickly people forget that superdelegates jumped ship from Clinton to Obama in 2008 once it became clear that he was winning.

There’s no conspiracy. If Bernie were actually winning (or if he manages some major upsets in the next few big primaries) more superdelegates would join his

Sam Bee is a national goddamned treasure.

I’m ambivalent when it comes to who the Dem nominee is. But chalk me up with those who are done with Sanders supporters. I have several friends who are Bernie supporters, and shit are they condescending, sneering, and insulting anytime they can remotely work Clinton into a conversation or post.
