Night of the Comet! Damn, I loved that movie so much! Once the 80s had given way to the 90s and I could no longer find it anywhere, I paid a ridiculous price that I won’t divulge here to buy a VHS copy of it.

This reminds me of Michael Jackson exclaiming it was “charming” when he, an adult male, shared a bed with kids having a sleepover at his house.

Valley Girl holds up, mostly due to the AMAZING soundtrack. If I hadn’t loved it as youngster on the verge of being a teen, it may not hold up.

Jessica did tell Misty Tai had hired her, but I don’t know if Misty believed her or not.

Hot Ones is on Hulu, as well.  It’s actually a great interview format and the guests are often impressed at how deep the host goes into their background to come up with non-traditional questions.

I do recall two show moments that made me actually laugh and both were Ross moments. PIVOT was one of them and the episode where he had his teeth whitened and was wearing leather pants and couldn’t get them back on after using the bathroom was the other.

The most unfunny show to ever air, Big Bang Theory, was popular, too.  It was also painfully bad.

I may be thinking of another celebrity, but wasn’t it Grimes who told a story about how her son wasn’t talking at the expected age because she DIDN’T KNOW YOU NEEDED TO TEACH THEM?? She thought they’d start calling her Mama or Mommy or Alien Creator Being (or whatever) on their own and had no idea the parents need to

I’m working from home today and it is SO DIFFICULT to wait for my husband to get home to watch this first episode. I won’t do it. I won’t do it. I won’t do it. But, I did already read three separate spoiler reviews.

Surprised to agree with most of these rankings! Depeche Mode was right in the sweet spot for my age range and honestly, there aren’t many songs of theirs I don’t love.

I agree there is some disconnect between teen Natalie and adult Natalie, but Juliette Lewis plays the absolutely broken self-destructive addict perfectly and, I guess because she reminds me of people I’ve known in my own life, I honed in on her more.

We finished our rewatch last night and damn, S1 is so freaking good.

Already an avid fan of You’re Wrong About and Maintenance Phase, I decided to give If Books Could Kill a shot on my drive home yesterday and it did not disappoint. I started with the Bobos in Paradise episode and it was hilarious. Michael seems to gel with all his co-hosts and whether it’s a rage laugh or a genuine

I think it was her cousin, but yes, part of Tara’s family.

Catching Amy Adams in S5 always gets me, too.

Seriously, especially if they didn’t know what they were getting into. I was on an indie kick when I saw it and someone recommended it without spoilers - I was horrified.

While the Budweiser Frogs and the old Rainier Beer commercials were iconic, no doubt, this rebuttal to the “build the wall” scream will always be my favorite. It moved me to tears then and still does now.

Jordan Clark, a 25-year-old Alabama resident who traveled for the service, said the funeral reminded her of when Elvis died, and “people came from all over” to remember him.

Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle is a legit great fucking song.

How does one single senator block an entire bill? Like, I legitimately don’t understand how that is possible and, if so, how is it that Republicans pass anything knowing that we do have at least one or two firmly left of center senators on the blue side that can just arbitrarily block a bill with their single voice?
