I adored Rose Madder, but you’re spot on with The Regulators.  I’d trade Rose Madder for Lisey’s Story, which I wanted to love, but just didn’t.

I read and enjoyed it, although I think I’m in the minority there. It was a little grim, but I had to see what Jack was up to in the same way I had to read Doctor Sleep for the conclusion of Danny’s story.

I believe it took me at least seven tries before I finally got through The Talisman. Funny, because it eventually became one of my most re-read Stephen King (and Peter Straub, of course) books.

Even though it may have gone off the rails here and there, I, personally, would never hesitate to recommend the Dark Tower series. Roland is a wonderful character, and although you may not feel fully committed to his entire journey after reading The Gunslinger, The Drawing of the Three should do the trick.

The soundtrack covers my other 15%, by the way.

I do!! But, my taste is questionable and at least 85% of my love for this movie is for the visual aesthetics.

I completely missed that it was the same dancer!  I love this tidbit.

Not yet, but he’s still so little a frisbee dwarfs him. All in due time, I have full confidence!

Being that he’s the only one I’ve ever met, I can’t say with certainty that all corgis are this way, but the corgi puppy that I watch at work every day is hands-down the sweetest and snuggliest puppy I’ve ever met. When he isn’t actively initiating belly rubs, all he wants is to lay down either on my feet or within

Thank you for a big laugh to start my day!

Whoops.  I didn’t realize we burned through the short season so quickly.  You are, of course, correct.

I watched that first season Dundee’s episode last night and yes, we should all be thankful Ping didn’t show up.

Ube says hello back

Not that you asked, but I can’t resist an opportunity to share the Corgi.

Another vote for QEII and a big vote for her outliving Charles. I have a pint-size Corgi puppy laying at my feet right now that also votes for her.

I hear many complaints about Cell, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and even found it kind of scary. I can’t figure what turned so many people off.

Ha! Fair enough, but you’ve been reasonably pleasant to me, so that counts.

I mostly see it on The Root making terrible comments and it almost always takes me a few second to remember you have an impersonator. In those few seconds before I remember, I always wonder what happened and think you used to be such a nice guy. Now that I know you can get it banned, I’ll start letting you know when I

I haven’t seen that and now I want to see the Power of Patty!

My sincere wish is they don’t cast Leslie Jones to play anything other than a lovely and respected person. Maybe it’s just the header image, but I can see them playing up her less than “conventional” beauty and propensity to be right out there in your face to mock her/whatever character she may be.
