And my (work) life has never been the same.  :)

I still visit Dlisted about once a week. In fact, Dlisted is responsible for introducing me to Gawker and Jezebel via his links to other fun gossip of the day.

I have a semi-cuckoo cousin that posted a series of videos yesterday titled “Nurse EXPOSES CDC vaccination and flu shot conspiracy,” so they’re definitely out there.

I don’t disagree about the acting troupe arc, although I did enjoy the Langrishe character. I like Cynthia as a person and would love to see her participate in the Deadwood movie, if it happens.

I’m sad not to see Cynthia Ettinger’s name not on the list of returning characters. Random trivia: today is her birthday.

I can see your comment, skeffles.  You’re not invisible grey, just regular grey.

Daryl and Carol are literally the only reason I still read the recaps of this show. I stopped watching in early Season 4, but I remain devoted to those two characters.

I had a FB memory pop up from 2008 yesterday, which was my Mom’s birthday, and I was thanking the universe for getting her the best birthday present possible, which was President Obama.

I’d spam my comment on every Splinter thread, but I have a sneaking suspicion that will do nearly as much damage to my campaign to become ungreyed as my lack of thoughtful comments.

I give her until the end of business day tomorrow before she goes into full backpedal mode.  It will be far too late by then, but just watch.  She’ll come out swinging and it will be all the more ridiculous because, as you pointed out, it would have been laughably easy for her to immediately accept that her statement

So, the questions are offensive to the giant orange snowflake. And, what? He thrives on being offensive.

It would be incredibly helpful if the “Show Pending” button actually worked and didn’t cut off after the fifth comment. I used to read through all comments, including the grays, until I realized I was missing out on the long threads.

I think you’re into something with your point that deep down, loneliness is what most of us fear. As such, I think using the word to lash out at those people is intentionally meant to be hurtful.

While I don’t disagree that these people shouldn’t be given the attention they so desperately crave, I don’t take these articles as a way to marginalize or make fun of the lonely and on-the-fringe people on “our side”. I take your point that using words like “crazy” could be offensive to anyone with a legitimate

I admit I was in it for all the hot vampires and the soundtrack was the unexpected bonus.

Belly laugh.  That was beautiful.

To correct, since my edit time has expired.  I can’t think of any WB kids’ specific movies in the 70s/early 80s era.

I’m wondering what your age range is? I loved Warner Brothers cartoons, but can’t think of any WB movies (cartoon or otherwise) in the 70s/early 80s era.

Now playing

*sniff* Maybe a little choked up now, but still enjoying the memories.

Reading those lyrics gave me a little chill.  <3  I adored that movie.
