I am also mildly obsessed with Joan Crawford. Whatever else she was, she was driven and she worked possibly harder than anyone in Hollywood to project a very specific image about herself, even though it seems it was the polar opposite of who she really was.

Yes!! To Die For could not have been what it was without her!! Her talent is unquestionable.

Bernadette Peters does have an amazing head of curly hair, too! And it was that striking unusual copper color that I loved!! I haven’t seen her recently, so not sure if she’s still rocking that color.

I really hate Nicole Kidman’s blonde hair. It is so the wrong look for her coloring, but she sticks with it.

Yes, Chelan, WA. As an Old Man In Seattle, I knew you’d know where I meant. :) Tho, we stay closer to Manson, but it’s right on Lake Chelan.

I can say this has cured me of my desire to jump on the boat in Chelan next week while camping!

Fascinating.  Do you think the boat flipped all the way over and righted itself?  I literally watched that about 20 times trying to figure it out.  

Taken with salt!  But, I appreciate all the feedback I’ve gotten.  It did take me out of my weird panic mode where I wasn’t sure if how I was feeling was “wrong” and for that, I thank everyone!  

This evening will be the third evening for me and I’m expecting by the time I wake up tomorrow, I’m going to be headed toward lonelytown.  The chores will be done and I’ll be left flipping through the Netflix or Hulu or HBOGo menu wondering why I’m so bored.
