Something about this article must have really touched a nerve with the trolls. I think I must have flagged at least 50 posts this morning pretty shortly after she posted the article.

I have a girlfriend (5'3" and rarely seen without at least three inch heels on) who shops at Anne Taylor Loft and says the petite section is her lifesaver. I don’t wear the same kind of fancy clothing as her, so it hasn’t worked for me, but they do exist.

As a lifelong fan of Mrs. Roper and a lifelong fan of my Grandma’s caftans, I am 100% on board with your suggestion.

It seems that way. Or, we’re all supposed to be comfortable with our pants dragging on the ground and collecting pine needles and cigarette butts as we walk.

Petite clothing doesn’t seem to cater to actual short people, though. 5'1" (5'2" on a strong day) and even the petite jeans I buy are too long.
