The proportions on the old Saab 900 coupe are just so wrong. The angle betwixt the hood and windshield is ridiculous, the rear edge of the door is barely down the length of the vehicle, and those massive flanks make the car look ass-heavy.

Yeah it’s not us Massachusetts residents who suck at driving, it’s everyone else from the rest of the country that drive like shit who make us look bad!

Except that these weren’t a disaster. The selling point was that they could be driven on a motorbike licence and were cheap enough that they were a viable alternative to a moped/motorbike. When working in a factory/down a mine the appeal of arriving and going home with some protection from the British weather was

Two Kestrels, not two Merlins.

As someone with autism, they can kindly go fuck themselves. Rather be autistic than crippled.

Anti-vaxxers are actually, in their simplest form, the most selfish people on the planet. They are SO AFRAID that their kid will be autistic or some other moronic BS that they themselves do not want to deal with, they they risk the health of nearly everyone around them. These people are fucking useless to society.

A lot of smaller companies are owned by the big "defense" contractors. These days, Scaled Composites is most famous for their work, and ultimate they're recent spectacular failure on, SpaceShipTwo... Virgin Galactic's space tourism vehicle. Not their fault, mind you, but the craft did break up in flight.

Not so much a feature, but an industry wide development: standardized controls

Russian ice of best ice.

Yes but still refereed to as “speeds” on a bike. You don’t buy your kid a 12 sprocket bike.

I’m actually not very fond of lights as decoration. I like what lights are present to be functional, well-designed and well-placed. In another decade, these faddish signature LED lines are going to be the mark of cheesy ‘10s cars.

That there is a toyota, dry it off and it will still run.

Yes, these crew cabs are just to appeal to people that really need cars but "need" a truck. If I can't haul a sheet of plywood in it, it's useless to me as a truck.

Because VW will only give you 36 months at 0.9% but Mitsubishi will give you a plan where your grandkids are still paying off the car at 0% long after you're dead. It's a new Japanese Shinto-inspired finance plan, part of Abenomics I think.

My Toyota Camry. Every few hundred miles it would just stop and this little check engine light light would come on the dash (pictured below), the car wouldn't even start. Also every 50000 miles or so it would completely run through its tires and need a new pair. I never had any other issues over a couple hundred

38k gets you a brand new Ram 2500 single cab with a solid axle, diesel and manual box. They rot on the lot at that spec, why haven't you bought one?

4 wheel drive hi-rail pickup truck and use cleared rail lines to get around as well as roads. Bonus for a diesel truck, you can scavenge fuel from locomotives and fuel pads in yards.

Should have used a digital gauge. Was probably off by 1.5psi.

Runs and drives. Needs engine and trans. Easy fix.
