if only they’d bought the right car to begin with...

I’m guessing the same way airlines do

Problem solved.

If I am in my car during a tornado warning, it’s because it’s here, safely parked in an underground garage the city has declared a storm shelter...

Just don’t sleep until you reach vegas, that’d be a fairly nice room and buffet and still have some left over for the slots.

Kids may not be the driving factor for a huge number of them, but it may at least dictate the design/layout of a lot of modern cars. I think it has a lot to do with safety standards and more specifically child seats. 30+ years ago when my family were on roadtrips, I (the youngest of 3 kids by 5 years) would get

not to mention, there’s only one thing more aggravating than having an overly aggressive driver tailgate or cut you off, than riding with that person. If I gotta go anywhere with management (more than a couple miles) i’m driving.

To be fair, I don’t like riding with anyone.

Not so much my driving, but my wife’s. Married for 12 years, I’ve ridden with her no more than 12 times. In fact, I had to teach her to drive so she could get licensed.

If only we could convert to and fuel these with fryer grease.

My guess, is she got to the end of the track and it no longer pushed her along. With the car dead, it was unable to pull ahead until she got it fired up again.

I got to see the Lancia last year for the first time. Until you see it first hand, you really can’t imagine how low that thing really is, especially since i’d never seen pictures with people in it for reference.

A good, solid, discrete option.

oh for sure, especially if split between the 2 of them. However, if you applied it to a hobbyist, its may be fair.

My approach to “Reality” Car shows featuring builds is as follows:

You can sort of do this in automatics. I sometimes drop into 2nd for going thru school zones, just idling along it usually maintains the 15mph limit.

In a way, I think the flipping premise is one of the better approaches. Since their not dealing with high-dollar restorations (which would take months) or extreme customs, it’s about the best way to have each episode be standalone, 1 car per episode. Doesn’t matter where you start watching the show, you get the full

I have attempted to watch many of the current “reality” car shows and they’re absolutely abysmal rehashes of American Chopper, formulaic extended commercial for their shop/brand/merchandise.

Will have to look for it. Is it included in prime or pay per episode?

If you ever get to, you’ll love it, I don’t get velocity and not sure if it streams anywhere, so I only get to watch it when I’m staying in a hotel.
