Yeah, Makes some sense.

Do you live anywhere with a lot of rental cars running around? Major business hub or tourism?

The one I rented last May was still a CVT but had faux shift points built in to act like a normal tranny, still was terrible in the hills and passing.

Two possible suggestions:

You could have a really nice Restomod Duster for that kind of money. Drop in a late model hemi drivetrain and you’ve got power and economy.

I’ve wondered about the Maxima’s CVT, I’ve driven lower powered Nissans with it and hated it every time.

That looks really good. Simplicity for the win. Too many cars are trying too hard to look different... Cough...cough... Nissan.... Cough Cough....

A better indicator of what to expect in sales will be the new ridgeline, since it’s closer by comparison. Wonder if we’ll see Acura follow Mercedes’ lead.

“least likely cars to die in,”

not to mention all the non-truck crossovers, Stealth/3000gt, early 80s challenger/gallant, Conquest/starion, Talon/Laser/Ecclipse, etc.etc.etc.

Technically, it’s a wagon.... Way cooler in my opinion.

Ha, seriously. I did get 2 cars from my grandparents... but i would hardly say I was spoiled.... They were just done with them.

This thing was my beast of a first car. Among the things we “got away with” include:

Glenn Larson gave us the best answer for this situation involving autonomous vehicles back in the 80s, why haven’t automakers focused on Turbo Boost functionality?

Pedestrian Catcher Bumpers. The only right answer to the Trolley Problem.

The Porsche’s neat, but show us more pics of that SeaDart.

She decided on the 4-door instead

Which nation?

Your future is dark and has no place for my kind.
