Or go anodized and leave them bare. Maybe even bare carbon fiber (normally i’d say that’s been over done, but it seems fitting on the Delorean)

now it just looks like a maxima.

I’m sure there are much better options by now, but my brother and I had always talked about a quad-4 swap. Might not be the most powerful option, but it had a fair amount and was lightweight. Whatever gets swapped in needs to be light to overcome the car’s overly tail heavy nature... or at least make it more

The main one would have to be the Delorean.

There’s 1 or 2 in town that I see on a regular basis. Probably about as often as I saw them new. There’s also an Allante.

From what I’ve seen, most of the current hate for Tesla (at least the cars) has been due to the auto-pilot wrecks. While I think what Tesla has done for the electric car is phenomenal, the release of the auto-pilot , over night, without properly educating the owners, was absolutely reckless. I do, however, still turn

True, I just can’t imagine someone shelling out that kind of money without doing at least a little research first. I’ll research for days before I drop $100 on anything, let alone $20k.

I think Tesla has profoundly changed the way most car folks view electrics as a whole. Once we, as a country, get over the hump of the charger infrastructure, electrics will quickly become the norm. Once they breached 200 miles on a charge, it really became viable, but to be able to go coast to coast, or anywhere in

I’m honestly shocked by how many fall for this. Anyone half way versed in the automotive world should have some clue of what’s going on. When you see the above Carrera GT and how much they’re wanting for it, you have to start looking at the sum of the parts. The wheels alone for that car would run you over $12k. A

I had no idea they could produce THAT much horsepower.... I’m running to Walmart immediately.

Yeah, but somebody in the US thought we’d like it. Considering the GM option at the time, it’s no wonder Chrysler flourished in the 90s... Looking back, the stratus is no museum piece, but compared to the contour and malibu, it was’t bad.

America did take a swing at mediocrity... So forgettable I can’t even remember how boring it was.

I honestly never liked that generation Z until just now.

Does it look better without them?

If I were to start a car company, this is exactly the concept I would employ. Though I’d use it for larger sedans and trucks.

I might have still had the floorboard had it had vinyl, the doors leaked real bad and the carpet would just soak up the water, holding it there to rust the floor. I actually bought it that way without realizing it was as bad as it was, it was cheap ($1000) and I needed something fast. Kinda wish I still had it, if

Shhh.... Don’t interrupt me. I’m having a conversation here...

On my XJ, if it hadn’t been for the carpet, I’d have had all my stuff fall out through the holes rusted in the floorboards.

Whatever we replace it with, needs to be non-slip. imagine all that crap you’ve got piled up on the floorboards coming crashing forward at every stop. Carpet at least provides some (very minimal) amount of resistance.
