Really depends on if you want an appliance or a sculpture. “good passenger space and good aerodynamics” works on a prius, because no one even expects those to look good. But once you get above the $80k+ range for a performance oriented car, you expect a bit more effort in the design.

I occasionally get job recruiters from NY asking me if I’d be interested in being there, but I’ll quickly browse Zillow in a 30 mile radius of their location. I thought moving from rural GA to suburban TN was bad (30% higher for housing).... Seeing NY suddenly makes it seem like a pretty good deal.

It’s hard to vet out idiots. Jiffy Lube has 2,200 stores. They may all be part of a corporation, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a lot of independent idiots working for them. That includes management.
