I believe that’s “What is Buell?” for $100 Alex.

Oh, like what Buell wanted to do.

First gear: IMO, Livewire should never had been an Harley. It should have been the Anti-Harley. Owned by the same people, but advertised as everything the Harley isn’t. Then Harley could advertise as everything the Livewire wasn’t.

Hard disagree. Donks look awesomely stupid but individual builds aren’t going out hurting people inadvertently or doing dumb shit like racing in public for clout. Donk builds know where they stand in car culture, and they’re fine where they are.

So this isn’t ok, but requiring every foreign manufacturer to partner with a chinese firm in order to build and sell in china was ok?

Diesel big rigs will likely be replaced by hydrogen, whether used in combustion (see: Cummins) or a fuel cell (see: Nikola, Hyundai. Daimler...) it doesn’t matter. Battery electric trucks aren’t going to be good for anything other than short movements, not over the road trucking.

I’ll be gas only until charge times are comparable to gas filling and highway range is easily 400 miles. Not trying to be contrarian, I’m just on of those outlier cases that drives 1500-2000 miles per week in my personal vehicle. Today for example, I drove 419 miles.

And so it begins.

We have ourselves to blame for situations like this. We spent years pretending China was anything other than an authoritarian regime that brutally cracks down on dissent and commits genocide against its own people because for years it was super easy to go there and make shit tons of money. Yeah I mean it IS a cool feature, but at the same time really irresponsible to have in a road car. And as you said will be used by people who have ZERO experience drifting or handling a car under rotation.

This is a really cool feature, especially to be offered from the factory in a mass-produced vehicle and not some sort of special low-volume Prodrive Sti variant or race car homologation special. With that said, more than 2/3 of drivers have no idea how to control their vehicles outside of the basic controls and I am

Sorry, that’s self-driving, not FULL self driving. FSD cost’s 15k and won’t work for a decade (maybe).”

Or park giant trucks with gianter trucknutz in front of them.

Yeah, never happens in the US... cough, cough, Kardashians, cough, cough, Paris Hilton, cough...

First gear:

We’re becoming very concerned that since we’ve been charging 10-50k over MSRP forcing consumers to essentially be upside down forever, that they won’t keep buying cars which we didn’t think would happen and is very confusing to us.

It’s the downfall of SO many industries and society as a whole. It’s crazy how much damage this specific thing has done (Thanks Jack Welch, you fuck).

Man it is almost like unfettered capitalism is detrimental to society or something.
