They have, but the problem now is selecting the music for the montage where they build it from the ground up in a single night.

‘Level of performance’ isn’t really the issue - the Audi isn’t faster because they’ve done a better job, it’s faster because it’s not governed by the same rules that govern everybody else. In order to lure in Audi and its “pure electric” car (which is still powered by an ICE “generator”, with a larger fuel tank

Can’t their rivals just, I don’t know, fucking raise their own level of performance? If someone is else is dominating then you need to step up your game, don’t just sit there and cry about it.

Tesla shareholders, stonk bros and crypto nuts. Essentially annoying single guys who you try to get away from whenever they start a conversation.

I think I would have been mortified to be caught in one of these at one point in my life. Now, as a miserable old fuck, I’d probably relish being the one to kill it for the workers’ sake. Take the free coffee and throw what you were going to pay into the tip box.

The pay it forward thing has always been the dumbest thing imaginable. It’s performative charity for people who don’t need it. Want to feel good? Donate time or money to an actual cause. Or, as this article wisely suggests, tip the workers.

1st Gear: I can’t help but feel like there’s a lot of “Emperor’s New Clothes” effect with Tesla. Their quality control is objectively worse than all of their major competitors, but here they are eating up the market. Shit’s weird.

First: Tesla is not a luxury brand. Convince me I’m wrong. The model S can pass for luxury, but not the 3/Y where the bulk of sales sit. Sure they offer huge amounts of technology, but that’s not “luxury”, unless we’re collectively agree to redefine luxury as high tech

I mean, “Luft” is literally the German word for “Air,” I’m not sure what you’re getting at by making that comparison.

In a perfect FSD world there will be no stop lights, signs, nothing, just an incredible series of TERRIFYING yet orchestrated near misses...basically like driving in India :)

Neutral: I’ve never thought of the shuttle as the Flying School Bus. To me, there is only one Flying School Bus.

I was gonna go with mercury, liquid at room temp., and potentially poisonous.

Neutral:

That’s not a concrete rule. A huge percentage of houses gain value faster than the cost of upkeep and maintenance.

1st gear:

We were not allowed to charge overnight. Everything in the competition had to be on the clock.

Ford stock holders would like you to stop typing now.

Heh....as someone who works in the auto industry as a powertrain engineer, this whole “fleet economy” thing is incredibly dumb. It’s actually difficult to describe how stupid it is to regulate vehicles this way.

Name checks out.

Some context for those of you not from Colorado, who don’t know the circumstances of what happened beyond what you’re reading in this article.
